Jessi is a natural!

Jessi and I have been watching auto auctions online. We love to hear the crazy auctioneer going crazy until the cars are sold. While canvassing for WithIT Networks on Tuesday we ran into a business hosting live auctions here in town. I was interested but at first Jessi wasn't really linking the idea of going.

yesterday we just happened to be in the area (not planned, really ........honest) I asked her again if she wanted to go. (yes I practically begged) She agreed.

There was quite a crowd! Chairs neatly lined up, bid cards, the works just like TV. So we started getting into it. The auctioneer was hilarious! (had a dj who played sound effects and everything) We saw a couch set we both liked. (have to get a new one because Jessi is allergic to the one we have now) Jessi also saw a china set she really liked. We were both getting a rush as people next to us bid on things! (neither of us said anything) I was so nervous at the thought of bidding.... What do I say? How do I do it? What if I bid too much?
As I'm thinking this the china set comes up. "Can I get 5 dollars.........7.50 next thing you know I'm going toe to toe with the lady in front of me. I won at 17.50
Jessi's eyes were lit up.... I loved it. I knew she wanted to bid but was intimidated. We bid on a couple more things and agreed to bid on a gas grill.
I had to step away for a bit and Jessi did her think. She is a natural.........
She went toe to toe with some of the best bidders there! Won one, lost one but overall she proved she's quite the bidder!

We had a blast! I love when she gets into stuff...................
